[MALTA] The Malta Worker’s Party (UHM) has included in its 2015 “People’s Social Vision” a vow to strengthen the role of the nation’s Auditor-General. The UHM plans to improve government transparency by giving the Auditor-General the power to refer cases of potential abuse of public funds to the police and have recommendations upheld, in line with the current powers of the Ombudsman.
